The midnight sun is a light phenomenon in the polar regions where, at the height of summer, the sun never sinks below the horizon; all night long it circles low, casting a deep red glow across the mountains. One of the most memorable ways to experience this is on a midnight cruise with our local captain.

As you glide through tranquil waters, never quite crossing the boundary between day and night, your guide will share stories of ordinary and extraordinary life in the Arctic, while pointing out the birds and wildlife you encounter along the way. You will sail along the fjord and out between the islets and skerries until you reach the open ocean. Here, the sky unfurls in every direction, and you can welcome the first hours of the new day in unbroken solitude and calm.
