Welcome to Isbreen The Glacier in Jøkelfjord

As we pass the two‑year mark of our operation here at Isbreen The Glacier, what stands out most is not the numbers or milestones, but the quiet moments we have been fortunate enough to share with the people who come here. Many of our guests return for a second or third stay, and we believe that has much to do with the feeling this place gives - the stillness, the closeness to nature, and the sense of belonging that settles gently over Jøkelfjord and Kvænangen.

This community has shaped everything we do. Local hands, local knowledge, and local pride are woven into the daily rhythm of the property. Together, we have learned to let the landscape lead the way, to offer an experience that respects the environment, highlights Arctic ingredients and traditions, and invites guests into something simple, honest, and real.

As we look ahead, we are preparing for a new chapter. From September 2026, Isbreen The Glacier will become a fully all‑inclusive retreat, with a dedicated adventure guide on site each day to bring guests together for shared experiences. Not grand excursions, but meaningful, close‑to‑nature moments that reflect the quiet spirit of this place.

Until then, we will continue to move gently through the seasons: the last stretch of winter with its soft northern lights, another bright summer under the midnight sun, and all the small, beautiful moments in between. And as always, we look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces; not just as visitors, but as part of the ongoing story of this fjord.
